FCA Message Type Fields

Vehichaul automatically determines what type of EDI message to send FCA based on the data, either a dealer message (510), or a shuttle message (540). This process works the vast majority of the time, however sometimes the EDI is incorrect or changes after the ASN was released, such as the vehicle is being diverted, etc...

If FCA is saying they are not receiving your EDI, most likely the wrong type of file is being sent and rejected by them, unfortunately they can't see the attempt when they reject it.

The most likely solution is to switch the type of file you are sending, from dealer to shuttle or vice versa.

Vehicle Delivery Type can be used to force the type of EDI message sent, 510 (Dealer), 540 (Shuttle), 530 (Dealer Pickup)
